Marko's career covering sports in the Bay Area spans over two decades. He has done on-air work and reporting for local radio stations, including Principle Broadcasting Network, Empire Broadcasting, and Salem Interactive Media. He built a loyal following among South Bay sports fans during his years covering the Earthquakes and Sharks for KLIV. He also hosted a sports-talk show on KLOK from 2012 to 2018. Marko is the founder and editor-in-chief of Bay Area Sports Wrap.
Growing up in San Jose and playing football at Abraham Lincoln High School in the early '90s, Marko cultivated his passion for sports. He earned his B.A. in Journalism from San Diego State University and eventually made his way back to the Bay Area. He continues to entertain Bay Area sports fans with his humorous and insightful takes. In his free time, Marko enjoys attending concerts of his favorite bands and helping out at his family's vineyard.
