Rod is a broadcasting veteran with more than 15 years of experience on both the AM and FM dials in Northern California. His sports media experience includes play-by-play, sports talk radio, and print. Recently, he has worked as a fantasy football writer and football podcast host. He also spent several years as the in-game host for both the Stockton Ports and Stockton Thunder. Rod is a reporter for Bay Area Sports Wrap.
He was born in the San Joaquin Valley, but has been a Bay Area sports fan since birth. His passion for the Giants and 49ers as a child inspired him to pursue a career in sports media. Outside of sports, Rod lives a busy and fulfilling life. He is a proud father of two girls and has defended our great country by serving in the United States Army. He also teaches radio and television courses at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton.
