Ryan has been a Bay Area sports media fixture for over 25 years. During that time, he has worked for ESPN Radio, CBS Sports Radio, Associated Press Broadcasting, and Sirius XM NFL Radio. With over 4,000 games covered and counting, he has been there for the biggest moments in Bay Area pro sports history. This includes every Giants World Series, the Warriors’ five consecutive trips to the NBA Finals from 2015-19, and the Sharks' appearance in the 2016 Stanley Cup Final. Ryan is the senior reporter and producer for Bay Area Sports Wrap.
He is a proud third-generation San Franciscan and still resides in the city. Growing up in the '80s, Ryan developed a passion for sports from going to games. Nowadays, he entertains Bay Area sports fans with his encyclopedia-like knowledge and dynamic reporting. In his limited free time, Ryan enjoys perusing old photos and videos of San Francisco to deepen his understanding of the city's history.
